Riomar Surf & Skate Camp

RMSC is located one hour and a half from Panama City, at Playa Rio Mar in the town of San Carlos. In this area of the Bay of Panama there are 16 additional surf breaks that are within a 20 minute drive from RMSC. In the town of San Carlos there are many stores, a hospital, a police station and a variety of restaurants.

New restaurants and modern facilities are being built in and around nearby areas, so while you are at RMSC you can feel very safe and can find almost anything you may need. Riomar beachbreak is a two minute walk from RMSC.

 

 

 

 

 

 

The facilities at RMSC include 8 rooms, a kitchen, a bohio, a swimming pool, a half pipe & a skate bowl.

Here are some traveling tips:
You may leave your wetsuits at home; the water is always warm, but you may wish to bring a rash guard and a quality sunscreen for protection from the sun. Booties are a very good idea for the rocks and reefs. Pack mosquito repellant, a ding repair kit, and a good all-around board.

Many places do not yet accept credit cards or travelers checks, so bring manageable amounts of cash. There are ATM machines in almost every town in Panama
